William Mehus - CEO
William Mehus (Bill) founded Corporate Benefits Resources in 1988, Knightsbridge Underwriting in 1992 and OutsourceOne in 1996, and is currently CEO. Mr. Mehus is responsible for managing growth and strategic development. Prior to founding CBR/KU/OS1, Mr. Mehus was sales manager at a national Third Party Administrator. His responsibility was in developing broker relationships, and production. Prior to that Mr. Mehus was a reinsurance broker with a regional house, the W. J. Lehrke Company with responsibility for placement of treaty and facultative arrangements. Mr. Mehus' education focused on risk management and finance. In 1980 Mr. Mehus received a Bachelor Science in Finance and Management, with an emphasis in risk management/insurance from St. Cloud State University. His internship was performed at Marsh McLennan in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr. Mehus is well versed in risk tolerance, risk transfer, risk assumption, and the world risk market. He is a Lloyds correspondent and has a 30 year relationship with members and brokers of Lloyd's of London. He also has 25 years of benefit consulting experience. Paulette Rickey - Vice President of Administration, General Manager
Paulette started with OutsourceOne in 2001 and has many years of experience in the Healthcare/TPA Industry. During this time period, her duties have included Payroll, Human Resources, Billing, Customer Service, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Claims/COBRA/ Flex Administration. With the wide variety of experience Paulette brought to OutsourceOne she is an excellent fit to provide outstanding service for the day-to-day operations of OutsourceOne. Paulette has a degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Management.Tyler McIntosh - Vice President of Sales
Tyler has worked with OutsourceOne since 2000 successfully selling and implementing much of OutsourceOne's current client base. He also plays an active role in the evolutionary development process of OS1's applications and service model. His previous work experience in the health care arena includes positions at United Behavioral Health, Kaiser Permanente, and a Benefits Consulting/Brokerage firm. Tyler earned a B.A. in Healthcare Policy and Management from Stanford University. He also has a MN Life & Health license.Paul Walther - Vice President of Business Development
Paul joined OutsourceOne in 1994 and has filled a variety of marketing, administration, implementation, and management roles. He has many years of Industry experience within the benefits industry, including nine years with Mutual of Omaha. He has a B.A. in psychology from the University of Minnesota. Prior to his current role, Paul served OutsourceOne as Director of Training and Development, and Vice President of Administration.Tony Hodge - Chief Marketing Officer
Mr. Hodge serves as executive vice-president for OutsourceOne, an Internet based employee benefits and affinity benefits company, where he has assisted the growth of the company to new channels of distribution and new market opportunities. Anthony Hodge has a thirty five year career in insurance technology that has embodied sales and marketing, executive and general management, and merger and acquisition work including the start-up company, Healtheon/WebMD, financially struggling companies, Continuum and Eldorado Computing Systems, and Fortune 500 companies, Pacific Life and Policy Management Systems. A technologist by training, Mr. Hodge transitioned into sales and marketing in the late 1970's. This transition led Mr. Hodge to participate in one of the greatest technology company transformations ever accomplished.. The company, T.C.C./The Continuum Company, went from less than $1M of gross revenue to $72M in profitable revenue and was one of the top five performing stocks for three years running A particular highlight in Mr. Hodge's successful career was when he was part of a management team assembled by Jim Clark to reinvigorate his start-up company, Healtheon, later known as WebMD. In a four year period, that team took a 50-person company in Silicon Valley and transformed it into a company of 4,000 employees with over a 500M in revenue. Mr. Hodge served as the director of marketing during this growth period and also served as the direct sales person that secured the large health care client that enabled this growth. Jim Willard has been with OutsourceOne since September of 2000; providing systems design and development for all of the technology of the company. Prior to OS1, he was the CEO of a large national Internet Provider which specialized in providing managed services to other ISP's and rural telephone companies. His combined experience brings 24 years of management and 19 years of technical expertise to the benefits management industry.Duane G. Harris, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Harris graduated from Iowa State University in 1966 with a B.S. in Industrial Administration and an M.S. in Economics in 1968. He received his Ph.D. in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1971. Prior to OutsourceOne, from 2001, Duane acted as CEO of Capital Management Resources, LLC specializing in providing financial consulting services to businesses and private equity investment funds. Prior to CMR, Mr. Harris was a founder and Managing Partner at Northstar Capital, LLC from 1993 through 2001. And a Senior Vice President at Churchill Capital, Inc. from 1987 through 1993. During 1982-1987, Duane was Manager of Business Analysis at General Mills, Inc.; as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor at Iowa State University from 1972 through 1982; and as an Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia from 1969 through 1972 Pierce A. Mr. McNally graduated in 1978 from the University of Wisconsin Law School, J.D., 1978 Order of the Coif with undergraduate degree from Stanford University.Prior to joining OutsourceOne, Pierce was a senior attorney at Gray Plant Mooty practicing in the areas of business law and entrepreneurial services.
In Dec. 1983, Pierce was elected to the Board of Directors of his family company, Midwest Communications, Inc., owner of numerous broadcast properties including WCCO-TV, WCCO-AM and WLTE in the Twin Cities. In 1989, he was subsequently also elected an officer of the company and he served in both capacities until the company merged with CBS, Inc. in 1992.
Pierce has worked with start-up and early-stage companies with which he would also develop an advisory or management relationship. He has written and lectured on numerous topics pertaining to corporate governance issues including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
